Fagus Psychology offers psychological support, training, and consultation centring on gender-affirming mental health and wellbeing.

Our mission is to work towards a safer and more affirming world for transgender and gender diverse people. We strive to empower individuals and organisations with the information and support necessary to foster acceptance and inclusivity, paving the way for gender-expansive futures.

Fagus Psychology is located on muwinina country in nipaluna, lutruwita, otherwise known as Hobart, Tasmania. Fagus Psychology acknowledges the traditional and rightful custodians of lutruwita, the palawa people.

Fagus Psychology is named after the Fagus tree, Australia’s only native winter-deciduous tree, which is said to have been in lutruwita for 40 million years. The 'turning of the Fagus,' when the leaves change from green to gold, red, and brown before being blown away by the wind, serves as a metaphor for the shifts that trans and gender-diverse people experience during gender affirmation.
